Having grown up at Balmoral, I've  always loved the sea and the coastal landscapes.  The views from my childhood home were amazing and I began painting them at an early age. I now live in  Avalon and continue my lifelong passion for beautiful landscapes.

I love oil paint; it's so tactile!

I use a very limited range of paint colours so that all parts of my pictures closely inter-relate.

Mostly I paint on cotton or linen canvas. And I use brushes or palette knives, depending on the effect that I'm after. 

I'm inspired by the beauty of nature, her beaches, bush and creatures. Like many others, I've travelled extensively and really appreciate what we have here on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
